I was surprised by how fluffy and soft it feels straight out of the package—definitely lives up to the Luxsoft name. Washes nicely too, which is essential for a duvet insert.
It's warm without being too heavy, and the fact that it's machine washable is a huge plus. Only small critique is that the corner loops could be a bit sturdier to keep it from shifting inside the duvet cover.
The loftiness is exactly what I wanted for a warmer feel, and it actually stays put in the cover without shifting too much. It’s a bit heavier than my old insert, but the machine-washable fabric makes up for that small adjustment.
